I know, Im exaggerating. But I have been down there during the day and it was literally nauseating. That mix of rotten alcohol, puke, piss, spoiled food etc all washing around in the streets and drains makes for an interesting scent.

No doubt the heavily trafficked areas can be that way (Bourbon, etc), but the primarily residential and small shop areas toward the back are nice. I forgot to check out Jen's address.
