re: Ferguson Police Response seems to stink

i don't know if this has been stated, but it was clear that the police were standing back to not engage protesters and then try their best to handle the looting/riots. they didn't respond with force until force was used, otherwise they ran teh risk of killing multiple people who would be described as "protesters" and face a real riot

also, now that last night happened, they can bring out full force without the same sort of worry

Wouldn't have made an iota of difference. What happened last night was going to happen at some night regardless. The die had been cast.
