Was impressed with the way he presented himself and his lay explanation of the GJ proceedings. He was well prepared imo.

I agree - I initially said "Good job" - probably better than good. I don't know how that could have been done better.

And they presented it well. Seemed to have covered all bases which is lacking in some of today's other dealings.

Well, McCulloch has actually had to accomplish stuff in his life.

Also, as I mentioned in another thread, McCulloch is an Obama loving Democrat.

He's a Democrat. You want to stick to that thought?

Why would I not? I don't give a rip what political party he's associated with. Doesn't change my opinion of how he came across last night one iota.

Just wanted you to be informed in forming your opinion seeing as to how you're the only one that thinks he's a dick.

Facts aren't meant to be warm and cozy they are called cold hard facts for a reason.

Where did I say I thought he was a dick? Last night was the first time if ever laid eyes on him or heard a word from his mouth. I have no opinion of him other than how he presented himself last night, and he came across as a smug a-hole. Maybe that's not who he is, but that was my impression of him.

Btw, there are countless times I've thought Obama has come across as a smug a-hole. I think being a smug a-hole is an inherent trait in just about every politician, R or D.

Of course he was, what all he said, needed to be said. It def stopped the media from spinning things.

However, I 100% disagree with his choice to announce at 8pm. He should have come out at 2pm when the decision came through and said "We have a decision and I am giving people an 18hr lead time on the announcement". He could have then announced this morning at 8am.

I was travellig last night and heard this whole thing on the radio - he sounded fantastic.

This morning I have seen a couple of video excerpts and the mental image I had built up did not match the video image. His expression didm;t match my expectations.

Sort of like he Nixon JFK debate - those who listened on radio thought Nixon mopped the floor with Kennedy, Those who watched it had other impressions.
