Watched it - Stephinufphigus did a pretty good job of interviewing him, although he did ask some asinine questions like "Why didn't you run away from Michael Brown". WTF George.

I thought about that. It may have been a chance for the officer to go into detail.

Wilson really should have just let Brown beat him to death. Brown could be coming home from college for Thanksgiving break and there would be one less dirty white cop on the roads.

Sadly, there are people who feel this way.

I forgot to add the sarcasm gif. Brown earned his death through his actions leading up to the event. There are people who are better off because he is no longer here to thug it up.

I'm convinced no matter what the evidence shows, this community will believe the testimony of their ever so trustworthy "witnesses" over facts. Its a lost cause.. everyone should just pull out and let them take each other out

The decision not to indict was probably proper, although why not let a jury decide? The standard for an indictment is considerably lower than the standard for a guilty verdict, and jury nullification would have occurred. However I do question not if it was proper to shoot Michael Brown; it probably was. My question is why the excessive shots? The head shot, which came after, seemed excessive to me.

A jury did decide

You don't know what you are talking about. An officer is trained that way. When you shoot, you shoot to kill.

You don't take a case to trial unless there's a chance of conviction.

Anyone who has taken any type of defensive weapons training knows that you engage the threat until it is no longer a threat. It could be 1 shot or it could be 20. He didn't stand over MB and keep pumping rounds into him.

The head shot was because he put his head down to charge. How would that be excessive?

I'd be very surprised if there isn't a federal indictment on civil rights violations. Even if not, Wilson's career and any idea of a normal life are effectively over for him and his wife. Just an ugly situation from both sides.

I don't believe that after five plus shots, he was trying to "charge" and would have posed any significant risk at that point. Hell, I would understand more if officer Wilson shot him in the car as he was allegedly grabbing for his gun. That's definitely a "shoot to kill" time.

I thought GS did a good job of interviewing the officer as well, although I did lol at the question about Wilson possibly running away from the suspects. Ridiculous. Knew there were going to be tough questions, but GS delivered them ok & Wilson did a great job of giving the account of what really happened. Seems extremely credible to me. Really hate it for him & his family.

GS giving the snide half laughing really after asking Wilson if he would have acted differently if Brown was white was total bush league.

On my phone, is there still rioting , looting, and stealing going on under the guise of injustice for someone the rioters didn't personally know?

Wilson tried to shoot him in the car when Brown was attacking him The gun jammed because Brown had his hand on it preventing it from firing. ... And depending on the caliber of weapon & type of rounds, people can definitely continue charging if they aren't hit in the head or heart, which if you look at the evidence did not happen until the end. ...Years ago, I knew cops who carried 2 firearms - the one issued & their own which was always either a .357 or .44 mag. for that very reason. Getting hit by a round from either one of those caliber weapons anywhere on the body will stop someone pretty much immediately most of the time, if not kill them, depending where hit. ... Idk if that is standard practice anymore in most departments.

What makes this sad event such a disaster is that millions of people have absolutely no clue what happened outside of officially released information and have formed solid opinions.
