The dude got caught up in success/fame and had an affair. Something prob 80% of celebrities (local, political, athletes, movie stars, etc) have done. Just because he's made a mistake in his life doesn't mean he's all of a sudden lost his ability to deliver 'the word' well. I mean, that's all a pastor is for, correct? To interpret, study, dissect, and deliver the message of the Bible to others. What he does outside of that shouldn't be anyone's business.

I mean, Kobe Bryant is my fav basketball player. He's not my friend. Just because he cheated with some chick in Colorado doesn't change the fact that I like watching him play basketball. I could give two shits what he does off the court. Again, he is not my friend. He's a form of entertainment. Some people make more out of shite than it's intended to be.

Disclaimer: I've never been to Healing Place nor do I know who this cat is.

One of the worst people I have ever known personally works for them. One of those fake saints who is completely self serving. I can't take anything out of that "church" seriously knowing they employ those types of people.

Little bit of a difference in a Pastor preaching and spreading "the word" and having an affair and a NBA player having one.

But maybe that is just me.

I don't attend HPC, never have and never will.

My only beef with him is that he is a public figure and should have had the decency to end his relationship with his wife prior to his affair. This goes for any married man and especially for a man that is a servant of God.

With that said, to Dino for slaying a young tender.

frick you. Comparing a guy who puts a ball through a hoop and a guy who gives life lessons/talks about morals is a perfect comparison.

Dino had an affair while preaching to others this is a sin

They both live in mansions

If he properly interpreted the word he would be able to tell you this is incorrect.

I mean if he is telling me not to put my pudding stick in some strange, I would expect him to follow the same.

What Kobe is doing to the Lakers salary cap is far more offensive, FWIW.

Correct.

"He should never be forgiven, he should never be allowed to preach again. Also, he should be held up to ridicule at every possible moment.

Now, let us get back to our hero-worship and slurping of every college and pro athlete, ever."

Agreed, it's like people hold our moral leaders to such a high standard that they can't possibly measure up to it. Then when they inevitably fail, people can feel better about their own shortcomings. Dino has done more good by reaching the message of the Bible to people than can be forgotten because of a momentary lapse in judgement. We need to leave the judgement in the hands of God, and do our part to make sure Dino's ministry has the money they need to continue.
