I have a friend that is setting up a tailgate and frying a turkey. If I can find out the location ahead of time I will let you know where we will be. Always happy to have fellow tiger fans join in. And of course thanks for your service.

If this guy would have said "Active LSU Baseball player looking for a tailgate in College Station"

Grown men on here would be arguing over who would suck his penis.

I don't understand. If you are not tailgating in College Station why are you responding to this guy? Why are you critiquing his thread?

What if he said "Oilman" or whatever? Maybe it is a good way to say "hey this is what I do maybe we have common ground."

I was trying to imagine how the thread would have went if OP would have said he was an operator instead

I don't think you meant to throw the military card out there, but it does seem that way. I understand both sides. don't listen to some of these guys on here, they get butt hurt pretty easy on here. Have fun at the game and soak up holiday time while you can

Long time member but rarely post and this thread while reminding me why I don't, compelled me to say something. First to the OP...thanks for your service and wish I was setting up a tailgate to invite you to.

Second, To all the douchebags on here that have the nerve to critique this poster. Maybe he was stating a little bit about his background so people would know he's not some weird stranger looking to crash a tailgate, or maybe he was hoping some other military LSU alums would be in the area? Either way no big deal but just to remind the idiots on this board whose parents didnt' seem to do a very good job of raising them I will say go f***K yourself and go back to whatever fake as war game you are playing online with 14 other dorks b/c yes even if he did post what he did b/c he feels he is owed something which I don't think he did, WE DO OWE HIM AND HIS MILITARY BROTHERS AND SISTERS more than you little bitches seem to understand...before you whine at me, I am not an old man cussing the younger generation, I am in my mid-30s and am ashamed at my current generation for now showing someone who defends our country the respect that deserves....

Again, to the OP...I hope some respectable LSU fans invite you to a great tailgate....

Exactly. I bet any one of these posters who are bashing him either have a crap job or they have a good job and tell people all the time what they do for a living. It is very common to tell people what you do for a living. People used to be proud of working in this country and proud of what they did. Now everyone is proud to be internet heroes.

The other thing I cannot get passed is if you are not setting up a tailgate in College Station why in the heck are you responding to the OP? The Rant is amazing.

I'm not setting up a tailgate but I will have a seat at the bar area of Buffalo Wild Wings in College Station which my friends call my office. The bar servers and managers call me coach. I'm going to hang out there as I have a parking pass in the West Campus Garage real close to Kyle Field. Come over there if you need a place to hang out.

I'm active military also, who cares if he stated that?

Maybe he wanted to give a little background on the situation.

I took it to mean he's active military, so he probably doesn't get to make it to games very often, which means he doesn't have a regular tailgate group he can join at games. Also said he was an LSU alum, which means he's clearly a tiger fan and wanted to be with other tiger fans. Lastly, he said he's bringing his wife, which means he's not looking for beer bongs or some crazy off the wall thing.

Seemed like a reasonable request from a guy who just wants to enjoy a football game with his wife and other LSU fans.
