Yeah, sky chief is actually the worst concert ive ever scene.

That was the most basic drummer to ever play a c level venue in BR

Benji Davis. Twice.
Mark Brousard 2006
Sky Chief had potential, but they didn't have any singer. I remember thinking, that if they could use less drums and somehow pump more of the keys, they could really have potential.

Also phish after 2010.
DMB > Phish
And honestly I've seen OAR Jam harder than both of those bands.

I was at that show and enjoyed it.

I saw The Eels a few months ago and they were pretty lame.....although they did a 3rd encore after the house lights came on and half the crowd had left.

I went twice. The first one was probably 85. Sound was so bad it ruined the concert. The next one was so much much better.

Mine would be Dylan in the zoo in 86 or 87. Could have been any of you in a sombrero and I would not have known the difference.

Maybe Cat Power at the Howlin' Wolf, sometime in 2003 or thereabouts. Granted, I didn't know her music, but I've been to plenty of shows where I wasn't familiar with a group, but still enjoyed something about their performance.

A few years back at Jazz Fest, The Decemberists were quite underwhelming as well. Tom Jones was playing at the same time, and that was more enjoyable!

BB King earlier this year at House of Blues Houston.
60 minutes of talk, 10 minutes of playing.
We left before it ended.
There was a thread about him earlier this year...

He's right.. Cajundome booked like one alternative band a year in the 90s and the sound was horrible for them & Bush.

Its not New Orleans so I don't know what you expect, but in the 90s the Cajundome had Smashing Pumpkins, Alanis Morrisette, Metallica, Bush twice, and Korn. That's way better than the Centroplex just having 311 every year.

I figured that

Dr John at the Manship is probably mine... Very disappointing and I had seen him a few times. The band he had with him just wasn't jiving.

That's a lot for a city that size. I guess its not much compared to a real big city though.
