When Netflix first came out, Blockbuster started offering a mail in service that was coupled with in store returns (circa 2005). For the first few months, you could return your mail order movies to any BB store and get a movie from in the store for free. (for 2 or 5 days). I must have rented 30-40 movies a month, easily. BB started cracking down on this, and limited it to 5 in store returns, based on the tiered plan you purchased. The start of the downfall of BB for me.

It was great living at the north gates and being able to walk over there.

Oh you mean that shite my grandmother used to use before she learned how to download movies for free?

It's 2014 no need for a robot-run, miniature Blockbuster.

Rather than condescending the people that actually pay for the content you think you're above paying for, you should thank them making sure you have good quality movies to pilfer.

It's still cheaper/better than Blockbuster ever was.

I haven't paid for Netflix in years. I stock up on the codes. Got a lot from McDonalds. This only encourages people to torrent. 3 bucks for a video game? That's close to Blockbuster prices back in the day.
