All Finals

SDS 47
MSU 41

USD 14
Montana 52

Liberty 26
JMU 21

3 road wins which two were by MVC, 2 true upsets so far.

The SLU game on road not sure if truly an upset but by seeding yes.

The SLC MVC record will be 4-2 no matter what. Shame they put 2 games first round matching them up.

UNI SFA kicks in 30 minutes

UNI is dangerous, I think they can win it all. Might go to the UNI/ISU game next week if it's not frickin freezing.

I think the committee needs to explain how you can put 4 intraconference in first 2 rounds. Yet they've never tried to do so before a quarter in any year.

The SLU Sam game understandable if you use they didn't play excuse. But they've expressly have said before, they wouldn't do until quarters to maintain balance.

VMI has contacted UTC Defensive Cordinator for it's HC job.

I don't know how that would work though as they're still in playoff first game Saturday

Top 4 teams in the FCS by Sagarin...

1. NDSU
2. UNI
3. Illinois State
4. SDSU

What a joke that they all play each other in round 2. Not really a surprise though, this is the same committee that seeded UNH #1 and NDSU #2 because NDSU lost later in the season. That was the reason the committee chairman gave on national tv.

Looking to be about 40 with no rain at this point. About the best you can ask for in central IL this time of year.

I think the worst of this whole mess is they very easily could have made sure they did not play until the quarterfinals and kept competitive blanace. I know they thought EKU was going to beat INS, but that game was what should have been paired with NDSU

I get not wanting to expose some teams and keeping interests. But to blatantly penalize the 2 best conferences is appalling.

I could forgive SDSU NDSU or UNI ILS matchup in round 2 but to have both combined with a SLC MVC Matchup to play a MVC team is just poor.
