I see that he is not highly ranked by the big 3 recruit sites, but he is a big DT and could come in and learn the system and start for 3 yrs....thoughts?

From last week someone said:

Washington showed a ton of promise as a sophomore. Last year, as a junior, he really took a step backward. He's playing much better this year, although not sec quality. IMO, he'll end up at ULM or Tech if his grades are in order. Really good player, but not dominant

Sorry, if that were truly from here, it would have been written as "dominate" instead of "dominant"

thanks for reply... just wondering because of need to sign at least one D tackle for '15 class. If we can get someone we're targeting, then its a moot point

Might be a project/back up take, I think there's some big DTs that LSU is still in the hunt for.

If we pick up a DT, it will be the JUCO Taylor or Mack.

He was a monster as a sophomore, but did indeed take a step back last year. He's playing better this year, but sophomore Collins has really been the best on WM's D line. I think Washington plays D1, but at a Tech/Southern Miss level.

I read he had some sort of injury last year that caused his performance to fall off but that early this season, he was looking pretty good. But I've not read how he looked over the rest of this season.
