True Freshman with a total of 10 passes going into that game. He's making his first start against a top 15 defense. What the hell did you think he was going to do?
Seriously, I understand being upset about his performance at this point in time since he's had roughly a full year of game experience, but let's be realistic about last year's bowl game.

He had the entire 3-4 weeks to get ready. I do not remember the weather being terrible - you know Capital One Bowl vs. Penn State terrible.

I am not implying he should have completed 70% of his passes for 280 yards and 3 TDs but the Iowa stats were pathetic.
