I wouldn't take the tiger offense and its not taking them anywhere either.

Coaching isn't accountable. 17-0 21-0

There is a formula for beating the tigers offense and when a team can execute it. It looks bad for LSU.

Did anyone actually watch any games last year? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills.

Offense was fantastic last year.

Our issues had nothing to do with the guys tearing it up. They tore it up at LSU.

We led the nation in 3rd down %, 2nd best in over 10 years behind Andrew Luck at Stanford

All these players developed over their careers at lsu and put up some great numbers.

and our WRs obviously were held back from reaching their college potential. landry/OBJ are dominating the NFL right now and should be seniors

they never really played like this at LSU against vastly inferior college competition. look at how the giants are using OBJ and letting him be explosive. we never did that at LSU. it's clear we wasted a lot of their time here and it's sad, looking back

we were only 36th in ypg

methinks you don't recall our offense last year in comparison with colleges

Exactly. Beckham actually missed a good portion of preseason workouts due to injury too. Odell and Landry are elite route runners as rookies in the NFL...

Methinks you need to adjust that for the different types of offenses runs.

1,000 yard seasons in college by two receivers on the same team is now evidence of wasting careers.
Slo your bias is obviously not allowing you to give an inch to any type of credit towards lsu at all.

but an offense that can control the clock and pick up third downs to continue drives is what wins championships.

I'll take an offense that can move the ball and score points vs your offense that has a good 3rd down conversion ratio. We may have been 36th in the country in offense but we were middle of the pack in the SEC in offense.

Winning some type of championship is pretty good to me. Losing the Peach Bowl and winning the Outback Bowl is mediocre at best. Sorry to burst your bubble.

SFP i think you are trolling but not quite sure. Odell averaged 19.5 ypc last year. That is unreal.

It was the defense that held everything back last year. We made critical mistakes early in the bama game, fumble on the goaline and the botched snap on our 30. The defense wasn't talented enough last year.

Really? You're going to look at it in this simplistic of terms?

No, I do. Our offense was the very least of our worries last year. We moved the ball very well and were extremely, extremely efficient and often explosive. But, continue to rewrite history if it helps with the narrative.

Absolutely. Anyone who uses strictly ypg to judge an offense as a whole is either just being stubborn or clearly biased

No thats exactly what this is. Les Miles =/= LSU. LSU was around before Miles and it will continue on after him. You can follow Miles to whatever he does next if it makes you feel better. Odell Beckham is an awesome player FROM LSU. The end. Miles plays no role in that.
