I am friends (IRL and on facebook) with someone who got in trouble for this. Also, I have several friends who got startlingly huge over the course of one summer. Doesn't mean I have ever done steroids, and I can assure you that know one would accuse me of it.

yeah, there's not much logic behind that.
Now, as far as re-racking:
1. Why not just admit that you don't re-rack (I guess he already has in his own way by saying it's not his job)
2. Admit you are wrong (yes, it's a sin to not re-rack in a gym. Those kids working the desk are not paid to re-rack for you. It's a matter of respect for fellow gym goers that you re-rack).
3. People obviously like you after they meet you, so I don't see the big deal. No need to get defensive. Admit the mistake and move on.
If I lived in BR I'd be happy to workout with you irl and get some advice. You obviously know what you're doing and have been at it for some time. Keep up the good work! Just try to be respectful of those who aren't as big as you or aren't at the gym every day. 
4. Steroids? Who cares. It's rampant in the industry and I have no issues with it as long as people research and get blood work done. Nothing wrong with gear and 99% of competitive lifters are on it. The only reason most won't admit it is for contractual reasons with their supp company.

I'm just wondering how he knows this guy who isn't close to his age, lives a few hours away, and isn't a competitive bodybuilder as Ron is. I can assure you they're not IRL friends.

Way I look at re-racking weight and this is because a female friend at the gym said it, if you don't re-rack weight and a female decides they want to use that particular equipment it is a pain for them to take off 2-8 plates of 45lb weight.
So it discourages them to even use the equipment, now if Ron got offended earlier for someone using the term "bitches" shouldn't he be thinking of the ladies here and re-rack his weight for them?

exactly. It just creates a cleaner and nicer environment.
It would be the same thing as someone saying I don't pick up my trash because others are paid to do that for me.
Is it true? Yes, but there are not enough people working to constantly follow everyone around and re-rack.
