he blames execution doesn't he? isn't that indirectly blaming the players?

If that's the way you want to spin it, sure. He has been ferociously defensive and supportive of players the entire time he's been here.

Forever Miles talks and nothing comes from it...Harris, Heron, Malone etc. This is Miles....deal with it or not.

Probably not - he would just blame the players

Glad I'm not the only one who notes Miles' enthusiasm for dodging accountability.

Yeah because our OL had been a model of consistency all year. Porter, who plays the most vital position was suspended twice and knocked out of the Arky game, Vadal didnt make the trip last week, on defense Robinson cant stay on the field

Those are not season ending injuries like what Treadwell at Ole Miss or Drake at Alabama had. The facts are that our Oline does not have quality depth and is slightly better than average even when healthy.

LSU could go 0 for in the conference and Miles would not change a thing.

an AM win will allow the board to sigh and be glad the season is over

An AM loss will put the board on notice. They will pressure Aleva who will talk with CLN- who at the minimum will do nothing and maximum will release a position coach.

Would a last place finish change him?

Nope. CLM would just blame the youth and the NFL Draft. In his mind he is the best thing ever to come through the state of Louisiana and is the king of LSU football. All of the sunshine pumpers have caused this. He has gotten a pass for so long it would be crazy for anything else to come about. Who in power will honestly challenge him. Alleva?

if last year combined with this year wasn't a wake up call to change this offense then I don't know what will be. Bizarrely some of our fans seem to think that if you have a good offense somehow that negates having a good defense.
