Just go buy some rigid or galvanized pipe. Why the hell would you through that much trouble?

Time will tell, try it on a short piece first. Also, might want to go to Coburn's or Southland Plumbing and ask them first. Home Depot and Lowes "salespeople" are just that.

I'm not a plumber thank goodness, but I know they sell different lengths pre-cut. Not sure how long you need them though.

They do. But it is a LOT cheaper to buy long and get cut.

Also, I need several pieces that are 45" long
