I don't suggest those. Dirt gets caught in it and it looks very dingy and if you clean it often it loosens the prongs. You can lose a few diamonds.

My center stone is is about 1.02 carat. The band has an additional .50 cttw in diamonds. GIA certified, g color, SI1 clarity. So not as clear and colorless as you want. Only paid 3,500. Got it from the diamond district in NY.

Lol, no. There's a lady with her hands over her boobs on mine. Lol. Not sure what the ad is even for.

I actually prefer micro-pave to channel set. Channel set just looks, idk, cheap or something. I don't particularly have an issue with mine becoming dingy and I've never lost a diamond.

You must have spent some time in the Katy Perry thread.

props to you. I can't give you any of these details on mine other than knowing it was my mom's diamond.

I have a pave set necklace and it gets perfume and hairspray in it so I was cleaning it often with a soft toothbrush. Lost two diamond.

Yeah, prom couldn't give you any of those details either.
I'm a big fan of diamonds though, which is ironic because I hate jewelry.

Oh, yeah, that would be a problem. Especially the hair spray. And I usually only get my ring cleaned at the jeweler when they have those air cleaning machines. Love those things!!

My mil pulled me to the side when she thought it was about time for us to get married and gave me a bigass family rock to use. She said to just make sure I got the proper setting for it. I think I spent 8ish K on the setting. That ring is worth more than my truck.

Yeah I probably shouldn't have tried to clean it myself.

I blame Pinterest.

You spent 8k on just the setting? That's crazy!

Paige quit the board and took her vast football experience with her leaving a gigantic vaccum of expert knowledge on this board, so no.
