The afternoon consisted of us taking 4lsu2jr to the local Chuck E Cheese for pizza and games. He was late on his nap, so we didn't get there until almost 3 pm.
I tried their chicken wings Because I can always eat chicken wings. They were small, but tasty. The only problem with them is that they only stayed with me for about 30 minutes.
$35 later, I had enough tickets to purchase a small box of nerds or a plastic straw and left my guts in their restroom.
Fast forward to dinner, I decided to try a concoction. I sliced up some smoked pork loin from the other night and made a Cuban quesadilla with ham and cheese. My special ingredient on the quesadilla was Chick-FIL-A Honey BBQ sauce that I became acquainted with yesterday morning after soccer tots. This crown jewel condiment took me by storm and both myself and the wife took more than 50 packs out when we left there.
All in all, a great weekend.

I actually like taking my daughter to Chuck E Cheese. Our MO is to go right when they open on Saturday. You beat the crowds, plus there are tickets sticking out of most of the machines from the employees testing them before they open.
ETA: good lookin kid!

The in laws live in Madison - just outside of Huntsville. We are here for the week. It's actually really nice up here if you took away all the rawll tahd crap.
Going to Nashville Tuesday. Hunting Friday and Saturday.

Remember, I'm getting old. Having a small place on a nice chunk of land sounds like heaven to me at this point.

Was doing better this this morning. Guts are still throwing a fit. The fever was running as high as 103. As to why, dam if I know. The wife was about to drag me to the ER. Not doing that. Spent two out of the last three Thanksgivings in the hospital. Of course you know that nothing gets done that week. Same as Christmas.
Fever broke. Guess that is good.

It's not all that great. Due to way to much work to keeping it up which takes time, equipment and money and then there are taxes.
But sure is nice to walk were no one hasn't before and if you ever need to tell some low life teen boy that was dating your only daughter that if he screwed up, you would plant his arse somewhere on said land.
