Ordered all our wedding china online after I found a similar mistake like this. Our wedge wood china was $2.34 for each place setting. We bought all 12 sets. All the ones we received as wedding presents, we retuned for store credit. Ended up with over $2600 of dillards store credit.
Manager of dillards did try to call and cancel order, but I gave them a piece of my mind and the order stuck. Their mistake = their problem.
Ten years later, China is still in box. mom made me register for it.
