Time to quit Joiqueing around here and get Bell into your lineups. Lions are 4-0 when Bell has 15+ carries in a game. My best guess is they try and keep the Patriots offense off the field.

Patriots defense has been friendly to opposing RBs this year and Bell is coming off his best YPC game with 6.07

Last two games NE has held Den to 43 and Ind to 19 yards. Branch has helped their run d.

They also have forced their opponents into passing situations because they're playing from behind. Also, I don't consider the Colts and Broncos running teams either. Same can be said about the Lions, but playing on the road is a different animal and ball control will be key in this one.

Det is 31st rushing and will be missing a starting guard. Bell will be in for tough sledding especially if Easley is active. I prefer Riddick this week.

Riddick's 2 rushes for 2 yards and 26 total yards last week without Bush sure looked good. Bell had over 60 yards at half. Lions just stopped running the football foolishly
