Leave it stock and learn to shoot working the reset. The only reason to change the trigger in your glock is if you're planning on using it for strictly competition. In which case, you would probably be better off with the 34 rather than the 17.

I leave everything on a carry gun or duty gun stock other than the grip.

Salient Arms or Apex. I know you can send your Glock in to Salient when you get the trigger to have them install it.

This is good advice.

If you shoot it regularly, virtually any gun's trigger and other controls (mag release, slide stop lever, etc.) will feel natural.

If you feel you just have to modify the trigger, I'd say put in the factory "3.5 pound" connector. It'll cost you about $20, and will reduce the trigger pull weight to about 4 pounds.

But whether you keep the gun stock (advisable) or modify it (or if you buy an M&P), learning to shoot using the reset position is really important.

I just spent about $150 on a glockworx fulcrum trigger and it was a huge waste of money.

As someone stated earlier, get an m&p and go with the full apex trigger, that thing is amazing

I would just get it worked by a gunsmith. Don't spend too much on a handgun trigger unless competing IMO. The only trigger IMO that absolutely need something done is the m&p .

I disagree ,for the price of the m&p plus apex. Get a HK vp9 or Walther ppq if you want a good trigger. Even the Sig p320 is awesome.

I want a trigger job on my HK, and a new front sight. $500 is steep though.

Too much IMO. Why not send it to a gunsmith?

That's from Grayguns.

LINK

They do VP9 for $300, more if you want them to grind on the gun.

I guess it depends on how good of a deal you get on an M&P. If you can get one for sub-$450, then total it would be $450+$130=$580 which is good for the trigger you get.

I will agree that in stock form, the PPQ's trigger is fantastic. I think it has the best reset of any trigger I've felt. It is a massive improvement over the P99QA I reviewed last week.

I haven't fondled a VP9 enough to have an opinion of it. Maybe someone will lend me one for a review in the future.

i just recently put the pyramid trigger system in my 17. i haven't shot it yet but it feels much better on my finger tip as the trigger shape is much flatter. the reduced pull weight feels incredible. i will report back after shooting it some.

this is not one of my duty glocks, i carry a 19 and 26 that i never plan to change the internals on. this gun is strictly a range/camp gun

and to all the glock haters
