Im currently sitting at 9-2 and it looks like I will have a 1st round bye and be in the $$
I have Demarco, Ingram, Alfred and R Matthews at RB

Its a 12 team PPR league, would it be smart to handcuff Demarco now? And if so do I grab J Randle or Dunbar?

Rest of squad is Luck, Jordy, Emanuel, OBJ and Gronk

At this point I wouldn't worry about the handcuff. Neither will be as productive as Demarco so far. Randall is getting about 3-5 touches a game.

So, youre saying, that if demarco goes down, owning Randle would be useless? We're talking about the guy that broke 3 tackles and scored a 40 yard TD on a meaningless snap. hell yea the guy is useful.

Yeah he's a RB2 at best. But Murray isn't going down this season. I'm a Murray owner, I'd rather the extra roster spot for someone else that's valuable

While you got the crystal ball out, go ahead and tell me Luck, DT88, Dez, and L.Bell's future injuries if you dont mind.

Thank you sir

Here is my thinking.. I think J Randle (with Demarco out) behind that OLine >>> than Ryan Mathews.

Bro, you're on to something... we're talking about playoff runs and last time I checked, booming talent wasnt chillin on the waiver wire. We can only roster 4BN spots, but if anyone of my guys on the BN go down this wknd, I'll probably grab Randle and I am not a murray owner.

So basically you just said he should be a starter on most fantasy teams

No, Randle won't start his season so he's pretty much a desperation play if you have him

Everyone, go pick up randle.

On a serious note, you'd probably be taken a little more serious if you'd refrain from making absolute statements. There are 5 games left plus playoffs where an injury prone and heavily used back has left to play. As we saw with Bradshaw, it takes one play from healthy to IR. just my .02

Which is true, anyone can get injured on any play. Murray stated this week his legs feel ever fresher after this bye.

I've been active on the WW for backs this year.

I have Murray, Ingram, vereen shoelace, hill and blue. Should I drop blue to handcuff?

And thats not scripted of course... name a professional athlete that has ever come out mid season and said "I feel like garbage... my legs hurt, my body hurts, everything hurts."

Secondly, Bradshaw "Felt great" too... ask him now how he feels. Point being, making an absolute statement like that where physical contact occurs every play is not the way to go.

I'd hold what you got. Vereen/Shoelace could carry you if Murray goes down. Maybe consider dropping someone else for handcuff for Murray, but handcuffs are just that... they not likely to be needed barring an injury
