Never mention those two in the same sentence again. Blasphemy.

I kind of liked Motley Crue. "Wild Side" was my theme for a couple of years.

My favorite Crue song of all time. Just summed up the band and the era perfectly.

I think yours may have been a little wilder than mine, Roger, based on some of your history you have posted here. But those were great years. I'm sure mostly nostalgia and being young and carefree.

I just went to see Motley Crüe back in June. They're still kicking arse.

You know those guys are always going to put on a great show. I'm just shocked they are all still alive. That is a serious accomplishment in itself.

So having an opposing view to global warming = wanting to pollute the world. Got it.

Wait, that time frame is just before The Little Ice Age ended, didnt he get the memo?

Yeah, if I had a lick of musical talent I would have been a good 80's rock star..

Not too long ago it was "global warming"...

It's almost as if we don't know what the hell we are talking about.

Well, particulates and aerosols DO reduce global warming so... ok.

There is an ozone hole.

Whoa. CHeck that out. It levels off around 1990. When the Montreal protocol went into effect. frick no way, huh?

Can you believe that when we greatly reduced our release of chemicals into the air that destroy ozone - the ozone hole stopped getting bigger? Whoa!!! Who would have thought !! (I feel like I'm trying to explain cause and effect to my 2 year old. But you're like as old as Methuselah.
WTF dude? You don't cause and effect yet?)

Now is the time to say "Thank you scientists. You were right. We were destroying the ozone layer. Thanks for warning us. We wouldn't have been able to fix the problem if we didn't know it existed."

Seems like this guy's predictions are at least easily testable.

I am an opponent of the human caused aspect of global warming. So I support the message this guy is putting out but his bona vides seem sketchy.

I have never heard of a 206 year cycle and I have paid pretty close attention to the subject - have never done any extensive research, tho. Just applied my common sense to the problem.

My problem with the global warming alarmists is that we are still recovering from a damned ICE AGE - how else can we recover from an ICE AGE without some global warming.

My other problem with the CO2 alarm is that CO2 is minuscule in terms of its proportion of the atmosphere compared to water vapor - and water vapor is orders of magnitude more of a warming agent than CO2.

It sure looks like your graph shows a clear upward trend since 2000.
