Yeh. All that coal burning to stay warm back in the day created that dark smoggy haze in the big cities, and yet the Earth still rotates on its axis being warmed and cooled as the good Guy made it. Can't give enough credit to wind. Air is cleaner today than back then, you'd have to say, huh? Population has increased too. You'd think all us mouth-breathers and our pets would be suckin up all the oxygen. I'm stocking up on fire wood.

That reminds me of this really ridiculous cartoon a liberal friend of mine shared on Facebook.

This guy says that global temps will be falling. This should make YOU and all your global warming alarmist friends happy. The polar bears are going to make it! Miami won't sink into the ocean. Why aren't you happy?

Damnit, I've been hoarding Hawaiian button-ups and flip flops for years to prepare for global warming.

We're all gonna die!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Eventually, from a variety of causes, mostly natural.

Gosh, this means that the alarmists in the 1970's were correct! Darn them!

I fricking love it when you cooling quacks get on here and post these absolute bullshite articles...its so much fun actually sourcing and vetting the author and then discovering they are completely full of shite
The SSRC...its a lobby group posing as a group related to Nasa when in fact they are not at all and has a whole 3, read three, scientist and not one of them is climatologist. wow three
John Casey...is not a climatologist at all, he is an engineer formally with Nasa and has no formal training or education in climate research
The article...is a cobbled together synopsis of the study of other concerning the sun's cycles and then overlayed on local weather patterns in hopes of finding some weakly supported correlation. Google David Hathaway + Cycle 25
and then this idiot says this
last year for the months of november 13 to october 14 was the hottest year ever in the history of record keeping...its was on average 1.2 degrees warmer than the century average and that includes rising OCEAN temperatures.
you ill informed people on here that think just because its was below average temps for the summer here in the US its appropriate to dickride some shill for big oil when he claims
with no fricking evidence
Global Cooling
I wish I could see all of your faces in about 10 years when average temps are still going up right alongside C02 concentration.
'there hasnt been any Global warming for 28 years'

There have been 18 years without any global warming, he said, and it has been 11 years since the oceans began to cool, with the atmosphere following suit.

“Every 206 years, the sun cuts back on the energy by which it warms the earth. As a result, we get colder,” he said. “That is the normal peak of the 11-year solar cycle. This peak, according to NASA, is the weakest peak in 100 years. What that means is even though we're passing through an 11-years solar cycle peak, it is very weak indeed. We still get flares that come off during these peak periods.”
So what kind of tax is it going to take to bride the sun to stay on?

How much tax will I have to pay for global cooling?

This fellow has never worked as a climatologist and holds no degree in climatology. If his bio is to be taken at face value, his undergrad degree is in Math and Physics from "JSU," whatever that is. His only advanced degree is an MA in Management.
As far as his work experience, it's long on generalities and short on specifics. such as which president he advised, exactly what projects he worked on in the space shuttle program at NASA, which commercial space company he worked for, and which humanitarian organization he served with. Those are the kinds of things that show up in most legit biographies. You know, so they can be fact-checked.
And while he apparently hasn't published any peer-reviewed articles, he sure has books to sell. LINK
ETA: I see someone up thread is on this, too.
