LINK

He hasn't lost in 10 years and seems like all of his recent fights are one-sided.

Is he the greatest heavyweight of all time or is the heavyweight division just devoid of talent now?

Is American heavyweight boxing dead?

It would be interesting to see the Klitchko of today vs. an Ali or Tyson in their primes.

Two things.

1:Boxing isn't what it used to be. But he's still good.

2: he's too boring to be the greatest.

frick no.

He's fighting in a sport that's on life support with the worst collection of heavyweight contenders boxing's likely ever had.

But over a decade? There hasn't been one contender in over a decade to beat this guy. Only Joe Louis had a run that long.

Rocky Marciano never lost a fight. And he kicked Joe Louis's arse.

As much as I would like to believe this, I don't think so. Vlad is too tactical and long for Mike. But I would actually buy the pay per view to watch that one.

Holyfield in his prime vs Klitchko would be incredible to watch.

Been dead for 20 years.

Where have you been?

Which is what gave rise to the internationals to take over boxing.

Larry Holmes in his prime would have beaten Klitchko I believe. Holmes was a bad man and he had a devastating left jab. Plus Holmes ducked nobody. His beatdowns were just cruel.

I think he lost his edge after Tex Cobb fight though as he thought he really hurt the man, but Tex wouldn't stop.

I know with the pussification of the US, that kids are more steered away from boxing. Let's face it, US boxing thrived on the plucking of inner city troubled kids and giving them hope of making money.

Plus, the lack of TV exposure and excitement is gone, so no one wants to do it.

The odds are probably ten fold better to make money in football than boxing.

182 year old Larry Holmes came out of retirement in 1988 to fight Iron Mike when nobody in the world wanted to fight him.

And Holmes fared better than any of his younger colleagues against Tyson (round 4 TKO) because of his famous jab (which wasn't as good as it used to be but still better than the stop, drop and roll on the ground technique the other fighters were using against Tyson)

God no.

THat's like saying 'Is the hottest woman in North Dakota the hottest woman ever?' -- ITS frickING NORTH DAKOTA. IT DOES NOT PROJECT.

The heavyweight division is the North Dakota of sports.
