The Philadelphia 76ers partnered with Papa John's to offer their fans half-off online orders the day after wins this season … but, 11 games in, they haven't won a single game. This is a problem -- a promotion never triggered is hardly a promotion at all.

In order to keep hungry fans happy, the rules have been changed. No longer will Philadelphia have to actually collect wins; it just has to score 90 or more points. The Sixers have done that in almost half their games, via Crossing Broad. Hooray!

Has anyone tried that Frito Chili Pie Pizza they have been advertising? I really want to pull the trigger on that but just can't bring myself to.

Arseinclarse posted a review on the FDB the other week. It did not receive very positive feedback.

papa johns does this everywhere and it's fricking awesome.

every time the braves scored more than 6 runs this year, i ordered papa johns online using promo code braves6. fond memories of the few times i did that.

Imagine that. Making an almost plain pizza and just dumping some Fritos on it, i did that shite with Doritos on frozen pizzas in college.

I just made my way over to the FDB to check it out for myself. That thread was full of
and some brutal honesty. Thanks for sending me over there to read that and saving me from certain future gastronomical despair...

I like chili and I like Fritos with chili, but that shite on a pizza sounds horrific.

No restrictions now, about two seasons ago the deal was they had to win at home.

In college they would have a Canes challenge(yes we get Canes in Athens suck it LSU fans) where if we made 5 3 pointers it would be buy one get one free. Then one year they made it if we scored 70 points we got it...our team sucked and they never got it when I went.

I was seriously pissed off...nothing like going crazy in garbage time when some benchwarmer hits the fifth 3.

With Papa John's HQ here they've always doing stuff for Louisville and Kentucky. But this may be the first time I've seen them change a promotion a handful of games into the season because a team just isn't winning. That's brutal.

Yeah they did the same for gymnastics. I don't remember the criteria but it wasn't anything crazy and we were good enough where we got it every time.

But that involved going to a gymnastics meet which wasn't fun more than once a year.

Yea. When I was in Raleigh, you could always get half off papa johns for like half of the year. 50% off when UNC, NC State, or Duke won their basketball game or 50% off when the Canes won their hockey games. The Durham bulls mightve had it as well.

The year canes did it with LSU and they had the benchmark as four blocks. Just so happened to be the tyrus Thomas/final four year, we got free canes boxes after every basketball game because tyrus was good for 3 blocks by himself every night, it was glorious.
