There is no way you think someone took the time to remove shrimp from her plate.

Tell me this, when I order seafood gumbo, why is it most of the time I have one part of a crab (in shell), an oyster or two, and a few shrimp?

Does the scoop randomly get only one piece of crab at a time? Do I always get lucky and get at least one oyster in every bowl? Please tell why I notice this.

I asked about 8 because honestly I don't know what makes up a small portion of étouffée. We have a place in town, Trapanis, that sells it, I'll count the tails the next time my wife gets it.

There's never been a reason to count in the past. It was blatantly obvious there weren't many crawfish so she counted. Could it have been an 'unlucky spoonful,' I guess, it just didn't look like it.

I'm hoping you're joking.

Perhaps the entire pot was very low on the amount of crawfish though, so even a lucky scoop wouldn't have been many.

All of that on top of the best beer selection in the city... (beat by maybe Cove only)..

Maybe by the Cove? It's not even close.

I'm glad you won't be back, it's often hard to get a place to sit, fewer whiners is always an improvement.

Me too. I hope none of the posters in this thread ever go back. It's hard enough finding a bar stool as it is. Good riddance. Chimes does not need them. I think it's decent bar food. They don't claim to be a five star restaurant. Dude should have sent it back and simply said it needs some crawfish on the dish. That wasn't a "business model" serving. It was just the amount in the scoop.
