They needed a study to confirm this? None of the alcoholics I know binge drink. They are slow and steady, all day, everyday.

Good the government was trying to tell me I was a stage 3 or 4 alcohol because I've blacked out before.

The definition of binge drinking is pretty stupid. 5 drinks (or 4 for a woman) is not excessive. I probably did that at least 3 dozen times in college.
But I never got drunk when I had something important to do the next day. I never spent rent or utility money on booze. And I don't even have 5 drinks in a year anymore...I'm just too busy with other things.
