This country would allow average everyday citizens to shoot illegal immigrants on sight before giving up the welfare state.

Liberals and other pro amnesty and open borders people will never fully understand or accept the point and lesson he is giving here.
A welfare state and open borders cannot coexist peacefully and thus do not mix together. Countries have been ruined and destroyed every time this mix has been tried. I pray we're not next and can reverse the disastrous course this philosophy that's calling the oval office home right now has this country on now.

I like Bryan Caplan's proposed solution: you have green cards and blue cards.
Green cards are given out on their current basis of family ties or advance employment sponsorship for skilled laborers. The system should be streamlined, because it's a nightmare, and quotas expanded for employment sponsorship especially, but limits still kept in place.
Blue cards are given out to anyone who can pass a basic background check and health screening, regardless of family ties, job status, skill set, or even whether they can speak a lick of English. But only green cards are good for benefits.

I agree with open borders from Mexico to Canada, makes better sense,then what Obama is trying to do! To many clashes against the law of the land!
