To all would-be-thieves here:
What he means is that his cousin is from NOLA and is asking which garage is better for long-term parking at MSY. There will be someone at the OP's house all next week, so don't bother coming around trying to break in.

US Park doesn't take reservations. Park n Fly does

Which is why I switched to pnf. Got turned away from every off site lot one holiday, ended up with a spot at the airport, but now make sure I have a reservation if I'm not cabbing it.

If the car you are taking hasn't been to US Park before, use their first time user coupon.... $20 bucks for 5 days! They have other coupons on their website as well.

I've used both with zero problems. Shuttle is always right there, even on flights that get in really late.

You can use this site and park down the road at the Holiday Inn Express for $6 per day and utilize their shuttle service.

just park in the credit card lot across from the rental lots for $10 a day

Why do that when USPark is cheaper? That credit card lot always looks sketchy to me

ETA: NVM, I'm thinking of another lot

So what is this USPark? I'm flying out of MSY tomorrow and don't even see this as an option. Futhermore, I'm not used to having to use a third-party company for parking. Looks like only the Hilton and Fulton Place (?) are available for tomorrow?

US Park is tough to get out of at the signal light if you are going west (left) on Airline Highway

Do I actually need to reserve a parking space somewhere instead of just busting up at the airport tomorrow morning and expecting to park in the airport's long-term parking (or at worse, the credit card lot)?

I use park n fly - for years I parked at the Hilton and paid to park and used their shuttle service - it was so inconsistent etc. strictly park n fly.

US Park is super easy. No reservation required. You go, get a ticket, choose covered or uncovered parking, they direct you to your spot, pick you up with a shuttle, and drop you at your airline. When you return, you go to the ground transportation area and they are waiting with the shuttle. They drop you off at your car, and you pay on your way out. It's located on airline right across from the airport. You can find it on Google maps. I'm sure Park n Fly or whatever operates similarly but with reservations according to other posters.

Minimum $20 fare to MSY... I took a taxi from Zephyr's Field one time, just down the road on Airline, and had to pay $20

I use park n fly. Never have to wait more than a couple minutes for a shuttle, and I think it's $8 a day
