One of these events got my arse in the dog house when I was dating a girl a few years back. She actually had arts\crafts in one of the stores. I told her I would come by and all that good stuff. I got there at like 645 and could not find any where to park. I said screw it and went out instead

Unless you actually have the money to buy the art and you're planning to buy it, I don't really see the point. The few places giving out wine are just giving out a couple oz of it in plastic cups.
