Are all the Christmas decorations up yet? I went once over Thanksgiving and I swear that were having a Christmas parade.......Or was it just another Disney magical dream ?

IIRC you go to sleep on thanksgiving, and when you wake up every inch of the 1000 some odd acres is decked out with Christmas decorations. Its quite impressive

That's not true. The Christmas decorations are already up and they have been having Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party a couple nights a week since 11/7 I believe.

Yup. The Mickey's Christmas was pretty awesome.

They have already changed the castle into an ice castle

Will suck for u this week. I went for 8 days 11/9 and we had a free meal plan, zero lines and 70s and sunny everyday.

We are off to Hollywood as well today.

As for the rain, it was just a light drizzle, I never even broke out an umbrella. The sun is coming out now.

Between the Christmas party and extended hours last night, we are barely waiting in any lines. 7 Drawf's Mine Train was the longest, about 30 mins. We have riden Space Mountain about 7 times in two days, longest wait was about 10 mins.

Please recommend a few good places to eat. We have an extra dinner to add and may move one as well. Any good ideas

I can't think of much at Hollywood studios to eat. I went there last year and it rained all day .

Wave at the contemporary is pretty good and a little off the radar.

Just a short walk from the MK or a monorail stop.

Prime time cafe is usually fun for a family. Love their meatloaf. Full bar in the waiting area.

Christmas decorations in the parks go up a day or two after Halloween. They literally transform from Halloween to Christmas over night.

The resort decorations go up after midnight on Thanksgiving.

As for restaurants, Ohana has the best breakfast, LeCellier is the popular steak restaurant in Canada, but I like Yachtsman better. Nothing spectacular in Hollywood. Flame tree BBQ is a good animal kingdom spot. Be our guest in MK is decent, the rest are just your standard meal/buffet. Victoria & Alberts in the Grand Floridian is the best meal in all of Disney, but take out your wallet and possibly a 2nd mortgage.

Tryin to book nine dragons.

La France was good in Epcot. I really enjoyed Kona last night. The tuna duck and steak was excellent.
