Plans are underway to build the world's tallest -- and quite possibly most terrifying -- roller coaster at an Orlando, Florida, theme park due to open in 2017.
Suitably called "The Skyscraper," the coaster track spirals up and down the side of a 535-foot-tall observation tower.
Judging by the looks of a simulation video (below) released by the developer, it's going to be one scary ride.

Roller coasters are for kids that can't play strippers and cocaine.

That rollercoaster sucks. I like rollercoasters for the huge drops. Period.

Supposedly, the Skyscraper will go to 65 mph at certain points throughout the ride.

For some reason I find Las Vegas's stratosphere to be crazier. It's like 900 ft up. I like how they stuck a 160ft tower ride on top of it.

Still pissed I didn't sneak off and do the cable jump off this thing during Christmas dinner at Top of the World when I was there with the fiancee's extended family. I'd be top dog for life.

Instead, fiancee freaked out at mere mention, and I would have been an arse if I did and caused her strife

Most of the ride looks fun, but the low speed twists, off camber turns in the beginning and past 90° drops look uncomfortable. The sketchiest part of that ride looks like it will be getting on, miss that gap and you're dead.

The video leaves out all the trim brakes it's going to need. Trim brakes are the worst.
