Scotch Drinkers: Which Brand Should I Get My Clients?

Price isn't really a factor here. Just looking to give my clients a premium label scotch for Christmas.

The Balvenie 12 year old is inexpensive and something your clients may have never had before.
It is also delicious.

Balvenie Double Wood 12 year

25 year Macallan
30 year Talisker for something a little smokier but not Laphroaig smokey.
eta:
I assume you don't know if they would prefer a single malt or blended malt. My suggestions are single, the Johnny Walker is a blend.

It depends a lot. If money is no issue I'd go with a 25 yr scotch (will cost anywhere from $600-thousands per bottle). Also do they like peated fire scotches or more floral highland scotches. Also what kind of cask barrels are used ex: port, sherry, bourbon, etc

Black is cheaper commercial stuff
It's good, don't get me wrong, but on the "prestige" level of getting your clients a 5th of crown or jack or something

You could do better.

I've never had 25yo Macallan, but I have had the 18yo and I must say that Glenlivet's 18yo is actually better and cheaper than the Macallan.

So price really IS a factor.
The 18 year old Oban mentioned is really good. I also enjoy Aberlour (they have bottles of varying ages to fit your budget).

Cardhu is a good cheaper scotch.
