We live in a condo and currently have cable and internet through Comcast. Does it make sense to just get Xfinity Home to go with it for home security? Any thoughts on ADT and AT&T Digital Life? Are they all pretty much the same? ADT seems pricey though.

Seriously though. I use a local company. Check those out too. Usually have much better customer service.

I use a system that calls via cell tower. No cut lines!

AFAIK ADT, Xfinity and AT&T are the only ones available in the new neighborhood we moved into.

Have this in my house, available everywhere, can get keychain remotes and able to access remotely on phone or computer. You can even use it to trigger silent alarms that just send you a text to let you know something has happened. I have a sensor on my liquor cabinet so I know whenever it gets opened. You buy the system, and then monitoring is $15-$25 a month, and you can take it with you when you move and expand it as necessary in the future.

We have Xfinity and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. God forbid if you have a problem with it you automatically lose at least 6 hours of your life getting transferred around in circles to set up an appointment where you have a 4 hour window they can show up. I'm going to pay to break my contract with a smile.
