Jalen will be the better pro Gordon might not even be a first round pick
This means nothing when talking about college. Plus not many backs even get picked in the 1st round anymore anyway...

Considering how Wisconsin backs do in the NFL, I don't know how good you can say Gordon really is. I know, that's foolish, but I remember drooling over guys like Brian Calhoun and Ron Dayne and BOOM! They're a huge disappointment.

I went to school in Wisconsion as long as Alverez is your ad Meyer will own you guys. Ohio St has alot of speed on the outside that the Badgers haven't seen. They have something no other big ten team has and thats depth on the d-line
That's a mark against the Wisconsin educational system. If you went to UW-Madison, I'd tear up my degree today.
UW has played OSU twice with Meyer and each game has been one score. Furthermore, LSU fans were talking about speed and talent that "we'd never seen before" and we did alright against that. Not saying UW would win, in fact I'd pick OSU, but since you've morphed your position to a head to head against the two teams and are making the point that Alvarez is a bad AD I figured I'd engage it.
(FYI, Alvarez is an amazing AD)

1. Jalen Ramsey 2. Joey Bosa 3. Jalen Strong / Nelson Algahlor 4. Derek Barnett 5. shaq thompson
Ramsey and Barnett are both really, really good but do you have some ties to Brentwood Academy to have two BA alums in the top 5?
Barnett is still relatively unknown even though he is having an All American type season.

Knee issues really ruined Ameers season. There is a big issue with that right now.

Nebraska doesn't have a good D.

LSU's wasn't that great this season either.

Nebraska has the talent. The coaching staff is what messes them up.

LSU has the talent, it just takes us 7 games into the season to put the best talent on the field.

Brian Calhoun spent exactly one season at Wisconsin and was drafted in the third round in an era when RBs were still regarded as first round commodities.
There really is no comparison in the playing styles between players like Dayne, Ball, and Clay with players like Gordon. Gordon is a completely different blend of a running back than any of those players.
Now, I don't think this is a thread to be drooling over the pro prospects, but I do think Gordon is the best player in college football. Still confused as to why the OP didn't include Gordon as a player that can change a game. If there is one player that can change a game, it's Gordon. There is a reason Gordon leads the nation in touchdowns (and runs) of 40+ yards and there is a reason Gordon currently holds the NCAA record in yards/carry.

Middle-of-the-pack would imply they are are hovering around seventh in the conference in defense. They sit around that fourth or fifth spot, statistically. They are comfortably in the upper-echelon of the B1G, but certainly falls short of Wisconsin.

Total Defense
1 Wisconsin
3 Penn State
8 Michigan
9 Michigan State
17 Ohio State
18 Iowa
33 Minnesota
So apologies. I should have said "top of the middle of the pack".

Can't disagree. Of course we'll see how that Wisconsin defense holds up when they finally face a real offense.

I think Shaq Thompson is going to be a beast in the NFL.
