Absolutely. I think I would enjoy it (learned a lot about it) but doesn't really fit my personality as well. Sounds like you enjoy it so that's all the matters most of the time.

Do it. I graduated six months ago and already miss it.

Home or back to work after classes.

At 35, I don't know why you would pursue a General Studies degree.
I agree with this. You have a perfect opportunity to specialize in something that could set you apart. At 35 you probably have a better handle on what you enjoy, way more so compared to your college years. It's hard to tell someone what to do without knowing more about them. If you enjoy what your are doing currently, find something that will give you a specialized skill. Unless this is a purely leisure learning situation, I would specialize.

I'm exploring my options to change industries, though. That's why I'm considering it.
With your law background, have you ever considered forensic psychology?

Wow. Never even thought about it. Tell me about it.

Here's a decent article for you to see if it peaks your interest... LINK
There are also some very good online programs... top rated online programs
The North Dakota allows you to work with an FBI psychologist at the end of the program. A friend was looking really hard at doing this and found the North Dakota one to be legit.

Thank you. I mean it. It's great to have options.

There's seems to be a few different avenues to pursue in the field. I honestly don't know a whole lot about the area but the little I've read seems really intriguing to me. I think the law degree would give you a big leg up especially in the criminal psychology area (I'm assuming you have dealt with some criminal law).

I'm giving it some thought but most likely won't because I don't see a benefit right now. Hard work, dedication, and experience trumps anything I would learn in the classroom at this point.
True, but hard work, dedication, experience, and a masters degree trumps hard work dedication and experience with no masters.

Maybe so

College is useless if you're going to get a General Studies degree.
nope. not true at all. if you have a career and training, and a degree will help, it's good. some employers just want a degree. they'll teach you the job they want you to do. Also, if you're considering an advanced degree, it may be all you need.

Just finish. Quit thinking.
Later, an MBA or work-related Masters will fix any prior mistakes. For now, just check the box that, yes--I have a Bachelors degree.

I went back at age 41 to get my AAS in Ptec at SCLTC in Reserve. I have three kids, work full time. Graduating May, 2015. Best thing I ever did.

Agree. I'm a general studies graduate, and have regretted it ever since. Unless you're guaranteed a job in a family or friend business, they're useless for anything more than to wipe your arse with.
If I did it again I'd at least go with Construction Management. That's what I do now after 25 years of scratching.

with 110 hours it might be difficult to get a degree in something other than GS withou adding additional hours.
why not take the fastest route to graduation and then get a Masters degree
But before you go- by all means decide what you want to do with your life.
Answer one question- If money was not an issue what would you want to do everyday?
