PS3/PS4 Gurus: Help needed inside

I have video files I want to copy from my PS3 and put onto my PS4. Is there a way I can do it other than copying them to a thumb drive then pasting them to my PS4?
Can I put them in cloud storage from my PS3 then bring them down to my PS4? I'm kind of old and my brain meats move a little slow, so any help is appreciated.

You can copy the files over, but you are not able to view them. While they added music playback in a recent update, there is no video playback.
