I almost bumped your thread about playing AJ at arky because the tigers play for victory, but was hoping you would do it.

No, there's not. SammyTiger was not lying. There was some confusion in the thread, but no one was telling a lie.

The premise that was presented on the Rant was: LSU should start Harris this season so that he has experience for next year even if it means LSU will lose games this season. I challenged that premise.

I did not say that starting Harris means that LSU will lose. I did not say that starting Jennings means that LSU will win.

I merely challenged the premise that LSU should play for next year at the cost of victories this year.

Jefferson did not lead us to wins over 7 ranked teams during the 2011 season. Great QB play by Lee was largely responsible for our 8-0 start. Once JJ was reinserted into the lineup, the offense began to sputter.

Also we stepped up and beat Ohio St in 2007.

I'm pretty sure that Matt Flynn was the QB in that game.

money in the bank right there...

Jarrett Lee should hold his head high, extend both his arms to Les Miles and and crisply extend both middle fingers and tell him to eat shite for what he did to him that year...Lee was great until Bama, he then got benched and never saw the field again...Teams werent stacking the box when lee was in, the minute JJ came in they did, and we had no offense. We're seeing the same thing now...and it is atrocious!!

Lee played well, but far from great. Jefferson had a much better regular season.

Myths. Myths. And more Myths.

After Lee got benched, LSU had its three best yardage games of the season. It’s not just that Jefferson’s best game was better than Lee’s best game. EVERY GAME JEFFERSON STARTED in the regular season, LSU gained more yards than EVERY GAME LEE STARTED.

LSU gained more than 400 yards only TWICE WHEN LEE STARTED. LSU gained more than 400 yards in EVERY GAME JEFFERSON STARTED during the regular season.

Jefferson did not start against the worst defense LSU faced in 2011. Lee did. In fact, Jefferson started against only ONE of the FIVE worst defenses LSU faced in 2011. Lee started against FOUR of the FIVE worst defenses LSU faced.

Are you talking about the 2011 SEC Championhip?

Because if you are, your "stats" are wrong.

Miles is going to start whoever is the better QB next year. It will probably be Harris because Jennings can't throw an accurate pass for more than 5 yards and he struggles to do that. The only way that Harris is not the starter for the next three season is if we get a fifth year senior/graduate like a Braxton Miller (which is very unlikely) and he could be the QB for 1 year.

It is not better but we still won the game and we still played for the national championship and we would have won the NC if we did not have to play bama.

Um no. Braxton Miller has a great arm and he is a dual threat QB. He is also a Heisman finalist so I think he could fit in any college offense. Plus he would be better to watch than Jennings for another year.

He was very successful in Meyer's spread-option offense as a faster version of Tebow.

He has done nothing to show he could come into this offense and be successful.
