Rewarding illegals for breaking our laws is NOT the right thing and never will be. Of course, it all depends on the regard and respect you have for our laws.

My interpretation of his chances in court depend on how, exactly, he positions this and what he tries to give illegals.
He can turn off deportations on select groups claiming executive discretion and have a puncher's chance in court, though I think that the odds are stacked against him considering that this court previously heard the case on Arizona's law and called it an overreach of the state into federal responsibility.
Feds abrogating their responsibility may not go over well.
If he does, in fact, try to fully legalize 35m illegals with green cards, that is clearly unconstitutional and should get him slapped down in court. Remains to be seen what SCOTUS can do to enforce this, though, given how Interior gave them the finger over the permitoreum in the Gulf.

I hope these hurting people get the help the need. This one tugs at my heart, and I hope the good immigrants get legal by an actually written law that can stand.
