Hourly body found thread, this time a 2nd in Lake Pontchartrain

they've been looking for the pilot and student since the other night (after the crash). Usually takes a few days for the bodies to float up or so I've been told.

came in here to post that it was likely from that plane crash a few days ago.

if you wrap them in chicken wire, they stay down. plus there is not chance of an arm floating away.

I'll just keep it to myself. No I was actually told that by a water patrol officer in Houma. Told me when they go on recovery missions after boating accidents it usually takes the bodies a couple of days to float up cause the gases have to build up from decomposition.
