Is our defensive scheme really a 4-3 and not 3-4

Are we more of a 4-3 than a real 3-4 defense due to personnel. Typical OLB's are standing and sometimes drop of into coverage. Our OLB typical have a hand on the ground like 4-3 DE's.....Has anyone else noticed this?
Could this be a reason our defense is so bad, because Ryan is a 3-4 scheme guy trying to figure out the 4-3 on a fly?

That's not why our defense has been bad. It was the same way last year and they played lights out. But to answer your question yes we run more 4-3 than 3-4.

Honestly we run way more 4-2-5 than anything

I'd say it's a reason why Lofton is beasting and cam Jordan/galette are struggling.

They didn't struggle last year running the same exact scheme.
