The fact that Sharpton is close confidant of Obama, Holder & Co. should be the most troubling aspect of this entire story. It should tell everybody here what the agenda of the race-baiters who currently occupy the White House is all about.

I hope people remember this the next time somebody here claims that "nobody pays attention to Al Sharpton anymore."

Obama pays attention to him.

Seriously.

Its unacceptable that anyone could rack up that much debt to the gov't and not be at least garnished. But the reality is, its pretty common.

I would be fine with jailing those who rack up huge debts on taxes and don't pay.

How MSNBC let's this idiot ramble on about the rich paying their fair share is beyond me. And his meetings at the white house....that's like a serial rapist having meetings about people speeding in his neighborhood with the chief of police in his office at the police station.

Out of all the double standards in politics, this has to be at least top 10,000 (which is still up there).

Sharpton is the definition of not paying his fair share. How he gets away with this is beyond me.

Sounds like Civen Bundy , but I doubt whether Sharpton gets support with his IRS troubles.

Whatever happened to old Bundy the mooching bigot ? I don't believe he is in jail yet, huh?

Not to excuse Bundy and that shite show, but, last I checked, Bundy wasn't on his own show spouting about how the rich needed to pay their fair share nor was he visiting the White House to influence and develop national policies.

Apples and oranges.

I think Sharpton is committed. He is committed to using other people to benefit Al Sharpton.

Sharpton advises Obama. Of course Obama isn't going to go after him.

Funny how certain people would rather eat dirt than acknowledge what a phony scumbag Sharpton is.

But, he has Obama's ear. Tells any reasonably objective person all they need to know about Obama.

Perhaps because "transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of [the Obama] administration."

And because Obama has been another insipid dimocratix constantly ragging on people to "pay their fair share."

ETA: This is the first I have heard of any of Al's tax troubles. If the IRS or any past AG, or past president knew of this and let it slide, that is inexcusable. #blackprivilege

Sharpton doesn't advise Obama no more than any of the other folks at MSNBC. The truth of the matter is that he isn't nearly as important as he thinks he is. As a matter of fact, he's a buffoon that should have never gotten his own cable talk show. Quit confusing your imagination with reality.

Sharpton and his action network has said they are going to protest in Ferguson, NO MATTER WHAT THE DECISION....This guy is a domestic terrorist IMO. I really think he does this for $$$, but inciting violence, or just a platform that encourages it, is on another level. I hope the next Attorney General, or IRS chief puts this guy in a cell, somewhere...Where would I be if I owed the IRS over 4 Million???Where would you be???

You're dead wrong, trackfan.

Sharpton was involved in the decision to nominate Loretta Lynch for AG.

Sharpton participated in the "secret" meeting Obama held with the "leadeaers" of the Ferguson protest movement. You know, that was the meeting where Obama told those anarchists to "stay the course"

You're in denial about this, trackfan.

For a "buffoon," he sure is a frequent guest at the White House. Check out the White House visitors log, and type "Sharpton" in the search box.

How many times has Sharpton visited the White House?

By my count, Alfred Sharpton has visited the White House 33 times, but note that the visitation records are only current up to the middle of July. Ferguson, Lynch, and the election have all occurred since then, so the "buffoon" has been there significantly more than 33 times. I am skeptical, however, of Sean Hannity's assertion that Al has been to the White House 81 times.
