We shot about as bad as we could possibly shoot and pulled one out.

Big defensive improvement.

We shot too many threes when it obviously wasnt our night shooting wise.

Yeah because of some horrendous shot selection.

shite I think Mickey, quarterman, and epps took at least 5 3's. And those are just the ones I remember.

Lot of work to do. We were a questionable 5 second call away from losing to a team that lost to Texas A&M-commerce last week.

Good to see them hang tough and get a W though.

I can handle a miss on a good shot.....but an ill advised shot?Very annoying.

Our best players don't seem to have the ball enough. Ball needs to go through Martin almost every time they are running half court offense. Gray dominates the ball too much. Martin needs to demand the ball more. Mickey needs to limit his 3pt shooting to practice.

They have to feed Mickey and Martin early and often. The team is much better when they are pushing the ball running the floor. Quarterman played good D, but is out of control on offense, but hopefully his shot will come around. Martin, Mickey, and Gray should shoot most of the shots with Hornsby spotting up from 3. Gray looked solid besides choking late on free throws. I think the team is still learning to play together.

Josh Gray has some nasty handles and knows how to draw fouls.

Martin + Mickey is nasty. Mickey has improved his mid range - deep shooting ability and it looks good every time. Martin is taking tbat next step and is a mismatch nightmare and scary in the open court.

TQ struggled on offense and makes some bonehead mistakes, but love his size and attotude and how he works on both ends of the court.

Like what I've seen so far.

I think the guy traveled on the in bounds pass. They didn't call it, but he moved both feet.

Josh Gray has got to be a bit more aggressive offensively. Way too passive in the offense tonight.

We better push the ball and run the floor now before we get into conference play and the good ole SEC basketball officials put a stop to it

Gray has the physical skills to run this team. But upstairs, these last two games he has lacked any sort of PG mentality. No understanding of time/clock, when to push vs when to settle down your guys, how to efficiently run an offense. He needs to be the coach on the court and with Johnny being a former pg I'm lost as to how this isn't already taken care of.

1/4man should not be allowed to shoot the ball.

Are you kidding me?!? He needs to stay aggressive and focus on defense. He seems to apply pressure for only a few plays at a time. On offense he needs to run the offense and let other players shoot. Be more opportunistic than aggressive.
