This is what we deal with in Jackson: Stokes.

Nice neighborhood outside of Jackson. Black dude buys it at foreclosure. House now has no roof, is filled with mold, and he clearcut over 100 trees on the property this summer, leaving a field of stumps. County does have ordinances and neighbors go to the county. They just want the house brought to code. Well, here is what happens. The first guy speaking who says cross burning is a lawyer:

I got as far as "equivalent to a cross burning" in regards to the paperwork this got as far as notices go.
At that point, I did the Seinfeld "yeah, I'm outta here" expression.

Why don't people just comply with country regs/ordinances anymore? He knew exactly what he was getting into and b/c he can't come through, it becomes a race thing?
