IJust went from bad to worse for the Wolverines. Makes the Ray Rice incident look like a pillow fight.
Officer describes violent scene in Frank Clark's hotel room
When Perkins Township police officer Martin Curran arrived at the Maui Sands hotel in Sandusky, Ohio, late Saturday, he wasn't sure what he would find. Dispatch had received multiple calls, the first at 10:32 p.m., one for a woman passed out and another involving a domestic dispute. What Curran came across getting out of his cruiser was Michigan football player Frank Clark in the hotel parking lot. When Curran asked what was going on, Clark responded, according to a police report: "Not much, a disturbance," and added "you can call it what you want."....
..."We had people from other rooms that were witnesses to this," Curran said. "That's how this started, somebody in different room heard screaming and yelling, heard noises come out of the room, they thought something was going on and they opened up their door and little kids come running out of the hotel room that Frank was in and screaming Frank is … the witness came out basically saying, 'Frank is killing our sister.'
....Curran asked Clark how this incident started and he stated women "I don't know what they do, what they go through, I don't know what she is going through, I know she is going through some crazy fits, and she may be pregnant."
Based on the evidence gathered by Curran and a fellow officer arriving at the scene, they had a different assessment. They saw enough to arrest Clark at the scene, over his girlfriend's objections, placing the 6-foot-2, 277-pound Clark in handcuffs and recommending charges of two first-class misdemeanors, one for domestic violence and one for assault.

It never felt right that we had a convicted felon on the team. I always called him Felonious Frank. He's an idiot and deserves everything that he gets, but it's also sad because he came from some awful circumstances and may have flushed several opportunities down the tubes.

He got kicked off the team. He stole some shite a few years ago, as well.

she and Clark began to argue while lying on the bed in their room at the Maui Sands Resort and Indoor Waterpark. She got angry, threw a TV remote control at him, and he responded by trying to restrain her on the bed. She told Curran that she tried to get loose by biting his nose. Then she said he pushed her head into the bed, they got off the bed and he punched her in the face, knocking her back and breaking a lamp. She stated that she threw an alarm clock at him as he prepared to leave the room.
i wouldve punched that crazy bitch too

There are VERY few situations where punching a girl in the face is called for, and this isn't one of them. But I'd be livid if a girl latched on to my nose with her damn teeth, and threw alarm clocks and shite at me.
Sounds like she might have put him in a tough position, and he made a fairly big mistake.

And there it goes.
Sucks for Frank, I think for the most part he is a good kid who has made some poor decisions and put himself in poor positions, but he deserves everything he gets here.
And he will still play in the NFL. Kid can play.

Things escalate.
That's different from dropping somebody as a first resort.

Did you even read the police report? The guy had her pinned by the neck and punched her multiple times. The people in the room next door said it sounded like her head was being bounced off the wall.

None of Clark's story jives with what witnesses heard and saw... but you are going to believe him on the alarm clock bit? COME ON. Well her statement corroborates it? Of course she's going to say it was her fault... "I shouldn't have made him angry" etc... That's how the cycle of abuse goes.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say he had already began Round 1 on her when he got those injuries. She tells him she thinks she's pregnant... He picks his stuff up and heads to the door. She is upset at his reaction and throws the remote at him... and he goes ballistic. He pins her in some form or fashion so she bit him... while flailing around she manages to grab the alarm clock (knocking down the lamp in the process) and tries to defend herself with it.
Once he knows the cops are coming - he knows he can't be at the scene of the struggle with her when the Police arrive. They've been together for 2 years - It's unlikely this was the first physical altercation between the two of them. I hope that they can get her somewhere she feels safe enough that she considers revising her statement.

Doesn't deserve to play another down at Michigan. Glad this was taken care of quickly up here.
That being said, I do hope the kid turns it around somehow. He's extremely talented.
