For the deer hunters - Do you lease, hunt public or own your own land?

We currently lease, but I'd love to own 200-300 acres one day

I hunt lease, public and family owned land

well...I don't hunt much of anything anymore, but when I do, I mostly hunt public

but when I go "home", I'll hunt "my" lease or my parents property

My Dad pays for my lease membership every year just so he can have extra stands

Bowhunt public; NWRs and occasionaly get bids to Davis Island for private adventure.

Duck hunt public a little; then get invited on a few hunts per year on private.

Used to hunt a lease when my dad was in a club and I was younger. Now it's public land and invites. I'm sure I'll lease again before I get the skrilla to buy a small parcel somewhere. End game is to own some, hopefully start small and eventually aquire some neighboring tracts over time

FIL has 40 Acres the wife and I hunt. It will be passed down between my wife and her brother. Eventually we will have to look somewhere else as it doesn't produce a lot but for now it is enough

Pawpaw owns a little over 2000 acres of woods/swamp/cane field, 900 being the cane field. Only reason I mention that is it makes for easy pickin for yotes in the off season when I want to shoot shite.
