The Baker family said their neighbor's four dogs – three pit bulls and a pit bull mix – broke through their fence and killed 10-year-old Bailey.

The horrifying images are still fresh in Tiffany Baker's mind.

"When I looked out the window, I saw my dog on her back, whimpering, and I saw two pit bulls attacking her," Baker said.

Her dog eventually gave up the fight, walked over to the side of their home and died.

"The dog at that house attacked her, bit her, scratched her, injured her," said Paul Houston Lavelle. "Her dogs attacked the beagle, when the dog started attacking her."

Steve Baker believes his dog never went on the offense and that she was only trying to stay alive.

He also thinks the lawsuit is retaliation for the 16 citations given to White by animal control.

Steve Baker said he was encouraged by several people to bring forth a lawsuit of his own, but decided against it.

"It wasn't going to bring Bailey back," Baker said.

He believes White sued them because she received 16 citations after the attack.

Emerald White has since moved from the home.

Her attorney said she now has all four of her dogs back with her.

Are we really to believe a 10 year old beagle, chewed through a fence, got into the neighbors yard, got through the gauntlet of 4 pit bulls, attacked the neighbor, went back into it's own yard, and was killed by the 4 pit bulls?
