The poll will come out at noon or so Central so will post it when available.

The Sports Network has released its playoff predictions for the week. As I thought and fussed with some SLU fans, they still are on the outside looking in for the seed.

Montana's Head Coach has resigned effective at the end of the season.

Indiana State-Montana State winner at No. 1 seed North Dakota State

San Diego-Montana winner at No. 8 seed Chattanooga

Sacred Heart-James Madison winner at No. 5 seed Jacksonville State

Southeastern Louisiana-South Dakota State winner at No. 4 seed Illinois State
The annual weed out the field part of the bracket, even worse they are paired with NDSU

Eastern Kentucky-Sam Houston State winner at No. 6 seed Eastern Washington

William & Mary-North Carolina A&T winner at No. 3 seed Coastal Carolina

Bucknell-Northern Iowa winner at No. 7 seed Villanova

Bryant-Fordham winner at No. 2 seed New Hampshire

They have SLU as a 13 seed. That's a joke

Why? The SLC has no less than 4 loss teams other than SLU. I do not see where the complaint is for their seeding, especially since Jax St won the OVC and all the teams above them keep winning. McNeese, which is the best win has not beat a team with a winning record all year.

I would rather see SLU seeded, but I just do not see how, this weekend if the right teams lose (UTC and Nova) they may have a complaint. If Fordham wins, they will stay above SLU also.

Hoping ISU closes out on a high note with a home win over SIU.

That is for a share of the MVC but not sure who would get an auto bid, like it matters.

UNI wont get a top seed. If Fordham beats Army, they get the seed. SLU needs help as I have said the SLC beating up on each other this year does not help SLU case. It is like last year when the Valley only got 2 in, but was the best conference. Somehow the Colonial is going to get 4 in again, which is a scam.

The new poll is out. I will bold the two conferences as usual. I find it weird they aren't moving certain teams around. But they rewarded JMU with 8 spot jump this week. Sam St is back in the poll. I still think the top 2 teams in country are ranked 2 and 3.

1. New Hampshire Wildcats (74) 9-1
2. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (56) 11-0
3. North Dakota State Bison (20)
4. Jacksonville State Gamecocks (10)
5. Eastern Washington Eagles 9-2
6. Villanova Wildcats 9-2
7. Fordham Rams 10-1
8. Illinois State Redbirds 9-1
9. Chattanooga Mocs 8-3
10. Southeastern Louisiana Lions 8-3
11. Northern Iowa Panthers 7-4
12. Montana State Bobcats 8-3
13. Montana Grizzlies 7-4
14. Eastern Kentucky Colonels 9-2
15. Harvard Crimson 9-0
16. South Dakota State Jackrabbits 7-4
17. James Madison Dukes 8-3
18. Indiana State Sycamores 7-4
19. McNeese State Cowboys 6-4
20. Youngstown State Penguins 7-4
21. Richmond Spiders 7-4
22. William & Mary Tribe 7-4
23. Sam Houston State Bearkats 7-4
24. North Carolina A&T Aggies 9-2
25. Bethune-Cookman Wildcats 8-3

great, so gotta stop Zach Zenner again...SLU's Offense better put up points.

How good is Illinois State? I don't follow FCS as much as FBS.

Thanks

San Diego was gifted the auto bid. Did you read how they got it?

So SLU beats #11/13 by 19 and doesn't move in the poll. Makes sense.

Because McNeese did not deserve the rank and all the teams above SLU won also, exception of Fordham who was idle.

McNeese has not beat a team with a winning record all year.

Yeah, I saw that. The Pioneer conference is a trainwreck, last year San Diego had to forfeit the autobid for similar reasons.

I think SLU, Chattanooga and Fordham are all similar teams, the 8th seed should go to UNI but I doubt the committee will give it to them based on losing four games. Even though two of those losses were close games to FBS teams and they beat two top 10 teams.

There's no way they will give them that seed. Just knowing the committee as we do I wouldn't be shocked to see them set up a rematch with NDSUin a quarter final.

I agree, if the committee is putting five MVFC teams in no way they give the conference a third seed. I wouldn't be shocked at all if all the MVFC teams are on the same side of the bracket. Regionalization is joke.

I can't remember if you have read all of the threads but every time the playoff prediction comes out I comment how they seem to protect certain teams and place two conferences together almost annually.
