Not sure any can top that...

Towards the end, Maclin was nodding his head like "yep, this dude killed it. Yep, he killed it."

Whitney Houston Super Bowl, due to the significance of the times.

I honestly can't stand most of the National Anthem performances I have to sit through, just because 99% of the time the performers are just thinking about how they can spice it up and make it unique to them, while actually not giving a shite about patriotism. Just comes across as hammy and egotistical.

ETA: love instrumental performances though.

Hate that we have performers sing the national anthem at sporting events. It's better to leave it to the crowd (if some people would actually take the time to learn the words to the national anthem )

Any one that goes 90 seconds or less. If it is longer than 90 seconds, then you suck at singing it and are trying too hard. Don't treat the Anthem like you are auditioning for Star Search. (For the under 30 crowd, Star Search was the original talent show that is like the 100000 shows that are on TV now where people try to sing)

Whitney Houston at the Super Bowl. If you haven't seen it, you need to. Incredible.
