Washington State is 3-7. How much talk do you expect?

Petrino?
This doesn't feel like a complete thought. Did you nod off in your cheerios mid-thread?

Rice krispies. Would petrino leave Louisville? It was said Florida looking for a guy who specializes in offense. hence the Leach talk. Got to consider the talent level between Wazzu and the Gators.

Leach has proven he does not care and can not win at the level Florida expects. Petrino has baggage and Florida wants no part of that, plus they need an impeccable hire that nobody can complain about.

I would not leave Arizona for Florida. Arizona has everything Florida has except the recent NC's.

I don't know that I would either. He's close enough to CA to get some serious spillover talent looking to leave the state. But consider this - premier athletes in FL running that offense would look like CUM's offenses in the UF glory days.

Yes…say what you want about Florida, but Jeremy Foley seems to be a class act with a good business sense and I feel pretty confident that he doesn't want anything to do with someone as slimy as Petrino.

I heard the guy from BC. But that's a lot of nothing. Florida needs a guy who can keep recruits from fleeing to the Big Ten or FSU.

Addazio was UFs OC under Meyer after Mullen took off. He has a lot of connections in the NE. I don't think he'll be the coach, though.

This will be a huge hire for UF. Its either the Hall/Pell years or the Spurrier years type hire.

I do not think they get their number 1 target, whoever it is. I think though Foley has 4 guys lined up that he wants to offer.

If I had to guess it goes something like this:
Call Harbaugh he says GTFO I am staying in the NFL
Call Rich, he turns them down because he can do same thing at UA that he can at UF
Call Briles, who tells them no way, I cant get the criminals a third fourth chance like I can here with the forgiving Baptist.
Call Fedora, who jumps at the chance.

Fedora will run a system that recruits love, he wants to get away from that mess at UNC. He has proven he can win at Southern and UNC. Has ties to the South.

Arizona has in state talent, they are not competing against 6 Division 1 schools to keep them home.

Do not kid yourself, Arizona is not like Arkansas or Oklahoma when it comes to talent. Plus Arizona has a great JUCO system and schools put kids out there all the time.

Arkansas Instate recruits
33 recruits *** or better
4 recruits ****

With no instate rival to recruit against.

Arizona Instate recruits
25 recruits *** or better
2 recruits ****
1 recruit *****

So 25 recruits where you split with your big brother Arizona St and have to fend off California schools that cherry pick.

Florida Instate recruits
279 recruits *** or better
38 recruits ****
8 recruits *****

Yeah I take my share of Florida recruits.
